Stakeholders are important from the point of view of quality assurance because higher education institutions, stakeholders, have an interest or participation in the institutions. Internal actors in higher education institutions include students and staff, while external factors include partners and clients. There is a need to categorize partners and clients from different perspectives including finance, process and collaboration, external impact, and organizational learning. These ideas provide a guarantee that all the necessary elements are included in the future success and quality assurance of an institution. The stakeholder idea intersects with many school reform concepts and strategies - such as leadership, shared leadership and voice teams - that generally seek to increase the number of people involved in organizational decision-making, operational and academic issues. For example, shared leadership involves creating leadership roles and decision-making opportunities for teachers, staff, students, parents, and community members, while voice refers to the degree to which schools integrate and act according to values, opinions, beliefs, perspectives and culture, people in your community. Stakeholders can be part of a management team, take on leadership responsibilities at a school, or express their ideas, views and opinions at community forums or board meetings.

Identifying and listing points of contact is the first step in describing an interested party. Identify positive influences: The goal here is to determine how this stakeholder can have a positive impact on the project: a supplier, for example, can collaborate on deliveries on time. Identification of negative influences: the opposite of the previous item. The press may publish negative articles about the project. Quantification of the power of influence: technique in which the leader determines a value, generally between 1 and 10, allowing the shareholder to have an impact on a project. A boycott of a community could be encrypted at 8, for example. Quantification of interests: similar to the previous point, but the objective here is to value the interests of this interested party in the project. A sponsor might have some interest in a project.

Stakeholders can also play a role in community-based learning by suggesting that local scholars, institutions and institutions can associate themselves with the school curricula that are taught to the surrounding community, including local history, literature and cultural heritage, and in a natural setting. . Community-based learning is also encouraged by the fact that every community has an internal educational tool that teachers can use to enhance learners' learning experiences so that stakeholders are necessarily involved in the process. Generally, the growing use of public education stakeholders is based on the recognition that public institutions supported by state and  municipal public taxes are not only part of the communities they provide but are also required to include them  in the community through management , operation or important decisions about improvement. Schools are becoming more intensive and more proactive with the involvement of the broadest diversity of stakeholders. Particularly disadvantaged communities and actors or support groups that were previously less educated or academically underdeveloped in schools, including English learners, immigrant students, and special education students.
